LCD
The Canon G9 has a whopping 3-inch LCD screen. The Sigma DP1's otherwise adequately-proportioned 2.5-inch display looks a little puny beside it. Both LCDs have about 230,000 pixels. The Canon display is much brighter. It's useful outdoors in situations where Sigma’s LCD is not. It seemed at first as though the G9's LCD was vivid and the DP1's was washed out, but as we got to know the cameras, it was clear that the LCDs were set to indicate their cameras' color reproduction.
