Finally, lets see what the files look like processed to look their best, in Adobe Camera RAW, scaled down to 8” x 12”, and sharpened accordingly.

All three hold up very well at this size, but you are, once again, seeing the basic rendering of the camera. Of the three, the D300s would be our pick in overall pleasing impact, color mapping and general ease of processing, but, in spite of the sharpness issues we saw in our pixel-peeping exercise, they appear remarkably similar.
