Well, here's one more step down the road to running just EVERYthing with your phone.  onOne Software has developed a $10 application for remote-controlling your Canon DSLR with your iPhone or iPod.  Crazy.

Image “persistence” is kind of an interesting new phenomenon we’re seeing in LCD displays.  At first, it may seem like the old “burn-in” we saw on the old CRT monitors, but it behaves more like ghosting- an image seems to leave a trace that fades within minutes, or hours, or an image that may be barely visible when the overall tone of the display changes.  It’s caused by the same thing that caused burn-in…  leaving the same image up on the screen for too long…  but fortunately, on an LCD display, it’s not a permanent problem.

A whiile back I had a look at the Adobe Express package- a web-based photo editing application, one that was getting a lot of attention as part of the new wave of online applictaions...  destined to change the world.  Back then, in September '08, I was underwhelmed.  Although a few things have been improved, I'd say it still remains as little more than an curiosity.
