Fujifilm announced an updated version of the Z200 that can take pictures using its touchscreen. The Fujifilm FinePix Z300 has a 3-inch touchscreen that takes up the entire back and allows photographers to focus and shoot on subjects simply by pushing on them in the screen. Unfortunately this sweet little chunk of technology is only available in Japan.
The Fujifilm Z300 has specs that are almost identical to the Z200. Both cameras have 10 megapixels, an internal 5x optical zoom lens, and IrSimple wireless connectivity. The big difference is that the new model eliminates buttons and increases the LCD screen size from 2.7 inches to 3 inches.
The Z300 measures 3.7 x 2.25 x 0.75 inches (92 x 56.5 x 18.5mm) and comes in four colors: pink, white gold, purple, and glossy black. It was announced on June 11 and was released June 20 for ¥40,000 (about $400). Related Articles |
